Quality & Compliance
Transformer accessories are safety-relevant parts: a relay that fails to trip, or a valve that leaks, is an outage waiting to happen. Here is how we control what actually reaches your site — and what paperwork travels with it.
Four points of control
Part identification before quotation
We do not quote from a vague description. Send the transformer nameplate, the existing part number, or a photo with dimensions — we confirm the fit and the interface before any price is given. Wrong-part returns are the most expensive mistake in this trade, and the easiest to avoid.
Pre-shipment inspection
Before the carton is sealed we check the confirmed model against the order, verify appearance and movement of mechanical parts, and confirm bore diameters, flange bolt holes and mounting centres against the agreed drawing.
Export packing
Sea-freight grade cartons with internal protection for instruments and glass, moisture protection for the shipment, and packing lists that match the invoice line by line — so customs clearance does not stall on a discrepancy.
Documents with the shipment
Invoice, packing list and the test or conformity documents applicable to the models you bought travel with the order. Tell us what your customs broker or your own declaration requires, and we confirm what can be supplied before you commit.
Compliance documents
Different destinations ask for different papers. Rather than publish a generic document list, we match the paperwork to your actual order.
| What you need | How we handle it |
|---|---|
| Conformity / test documents for the models you are buying | Supplied as copies together with your quotation and with the shipping documents. Name the models and the destination country when you enquire and we confirm availability up front. |
| Documents naming your company (declaration in your name, re-issued paperwork) | Raise this before production, not after. It is arranged with the manufacturing partner and affects lead time, so tell us at the enquiry stage. |
| Testing for a specific model or drawing | New-sample testing can be arranged against your exact part number before shipment. Lead time and cost are quoted with the goods. |
| Requirements specific to your market | Tell us the destination and the standard you must satisfy. If a requirement cannot be met with the current supply, we say so at the quotation stage rather than after the order. |
We only state what we can substantiate. If a document cannot be supplied for a given model, you will hear that from us before you order — not after.
Why we are careful about claims
No invented specifications
Where a figure is not confirmed for your exact model, the page says so instead of filling in a plausible number. Unverified data in a tender document is a bigger risk to you than a missing value.
Drawings over adjectives
Fit is decided by dimensions, not by words like "standard" or "universal". We work from dimensional charts, flange tables and nameplate data, and we will send the drawing for you to check.
Mixed orders are normal
Small trial orders, mixed models and consolidated shipments are how most first orders start. You can test one relay and one gauge before committing to a container.
What to send with your enquiry
- Transformer nameplate photo — rated power, voltage ratio and cooling class identify the accessory family immediately.
- Existing part number or photo of the part being replaced, with overall dimensions or bore diameter.
- Quantity and destination — quantity sets the packing and price tier; destination decides which documents apply.
- Any requirement you must satisfy — a tender specification, an importer's checklist, or a standard your customer has named.
Frequently Asked
Can you send the quality and test documents for a specific model?
Yes. Name the model and the destination country in your enquiry and we will confirm exactly which documents can be supplied, before you place the order. They travel with the quotation and again with the shipping documents.
Our customs broker needs documentation in our company name. Can you do that?
Raise it at the enquiry stage. It is arranged with the manufacturing partner before production and affects lead time, so it cannot be added afterwards.
Can I inspect before shipment?
Yes. Third-party inspection can be arranged at the factory before the goods are sealed, and we will work to your inspector's checklist. Tell us early so it can be scheduled into the lead time.
What if the part does not fit?
This is why we ask for nameplate and dimensional data before quoting. If we confirm a fit from your data and the part still does not match the confirmed specification, we will make it right — send us the measurement that differs and photos of the part in place.
Need documents or an inspection arranged?
Send the model numbers, quantity and destination country — we reply within 24 hours with what can be supplied.
